How to Pray the Rosary
The rosary is a prayer of repetition and reflection. With each bead, we walk beside Our Lady and contemplate the life of Christ through the mysteries of His Incarnation, Passion, and Resurrection.
You do not need perfect memory to pray well. Simply begin, and allow the rhythm of prayer to guide you.
What are the Mysteries?
Each Rosary is prayed with one set of mysteries.
Within that set are five moments from Christ’s life—one for each decade.
Each decade holds ten Hail Marys, and as you pray them bead by bead, you move through all five moments along a single path of grace.
The Four Sets of Mysteries
Each set of mysteries opens into its own garden
Enter the Garden of Beginnings, where God’s quiet invitations bloom and joy takes root in hidden places.
✧
Enter the Garden of Light, where the works of Christ shine with quiet radiance and His presence is revealed like water catching the sun.
✧
Step into the shaded grove, where Christ bears the weight of the world and love kneels beside suffering.
✧
Step into the Garden of Triumph, where sorrow gives way to dawn, and the risen Christ fills every moment with unending joy.
